BearWood's founder, Alex Tindle, has over 16 years experience working as an arborist, which gives him the ability and privilege to choose the wood he works with straight from the tree. At BearWood we take pride in knowing the story behind each piece of timber that we work with, and sharing that journey with you.

From our workshop on the South Coast of England we produce elegant and unique pieces of woodwork, sometimes also incorporating resin and metal into our designs. Our repertoire includes custom-designed furniture, mantel pieces, wedding centrepieces and building features, to coasters, serving boards and cufflinks. All of our products are handmade and highlight the stunning grain and natural features of the slab of wood used to create them, while also meeting your individual requirements.
